We all have to learn and keep on learning.
However, learning can often come the hard way.
Wouldn’t it be great if learning was all easy?
Learning takes time, energy and can even be painful.
Like teaching a child to ride a bike – for some it comes easily, for others not so easily.
Some learn well and ride almost instantly and others fall off time and time again before they get it. As a parent, your patience is tested. I wonder how God feels with us?
Do you keep making the same mistake…like burning the dinner?
Something is wrong.
Or more serious mistakes? Something needs to change.
In life, there are some important lessons to learn and often we fall down whilst learning.
Here are some trustworthy sayings…
‘It’s ok to fall, as long as you fall forward.’
That means, learn from it and be a little further down the road because of it.
‘It’s not how many times you fall, but getting up again that counts.’
Don’t give up learning to do whatever it is you need to learn. Get back up stronger and more determined that with God’s help, you will do it.
‘The quicker you get back up, the more chance you have of finishing the race.’
I love those races where someone trips and falls, but then they get up and go on to win the race! Way to go!
That’s how it should be with us.
Ask God to help you.
Ask for His wisdom.
Get back up stronger and go for it!
Have a great weekend.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
