Over the last couple of days, we’ve looked at growing up.
Here are some good points that will help us in our growth.
‘Do I have to grow up?’
Unless you want to stick out like a sore thumb – the answer is ‘yes’.
Unless you want people to look at you and think that behaviour is strange – then yes.
If you want to advance in life and take hold of what God has for you – then yes.
If you want a good level of responsibility – then yes.
If you want God to trust you with great and exciting things – then yes.
If you want to do awesome things for God and make a significant difference – then yes.
Here’s some testers to see if you are growing…
From time to time, life throws difficult circumstances at us.
When I am faced with ‘stuff’ – how do I react?
Do I handle it differently to how I used to?
Does it affect me negatively?
How is my attitude when it is happening?
When you see people who you are mentoring grow in different situations, it’s very rewarding.
When your child learns to ride a bike, or write their name, it’s a great feeling.
How much more does God smile on us, when He sees that we are growing in certain areas?
You are never too old to learn or grow.
You are never too young to learn and mature.
Take responsibility for yourself and keep the growing going.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
