We looked yesterday at how we should be worshipping because we are thankful.
Today, I want to draw your attention to worship saying “I trust you”.
In the book of Genesis, we read the story of Noah and the annihilation of mankind.
(The ark is not just a Bible story alone, but also a scientific fact).
Imagine how Noah must have felt to witness such devastation? Some of us don’t like thinking about the Titanic; imagine this!
Yet, I love Genesis 8 v 20, because it tells us that Noah worshipped.
Worship is often this: “I don’t know what’s going on God and I can’t quite understand it.. but I trust YOU.”
Shortly after this, in verses 21-22, God makes a promise never to do that again and sent the rainbow as a reminder, even to this day, of the promises of God.
Your worship, even in extreme circumstances will bring a response from God.
Do you need to stop worrying today and trust Him over an issue?
Start to worship…it attracts His response.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
