I’m writing this sitting in the Dentist’s waiting room.
I’m not one of those people who totally freaks out at the thought of going, but I certainly don’t enjoy it.
The last time I attended the dentist (the expert) he recommended that I did something that would help me.
The truth is, I’ve been very lazy in fulfilling that request and I honestly haven’t seen it through.
So guess what? The results this time are probably a little worse, because I didn’t take the advice.
Like life really isn’t it!?
We like to ask for advice, but don’t always like what we’re told or we think the advice is okay at the time, but really don’t do anything about it.
Sometimes, we can even pray about stuff and ask God for wisdom and then ignore totally what He says and then wonder why things don’t work out.
Today, I had to apologise to the dentist. I will put it right.
What do you need to sort today?
Do you want things to be better and different or are you happy to mess up or at the very least, stay the same?
Listen to the expert. He knows best.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
