One thing that we all have in common is that we each have something to be grateful for. If you’re currently trying to think of something, the fact that you’re reading this, which means you’re alive, is one!
I read a quote this week and it said, ‘If gratitude is silent, it doesn’t help anyone, but your gratitude expressed encourages everyone.’
This statement issues us with a challenge: To identify that which you are thankful for and express your gratitude.
Whether it be through words or through actions, I want to encourage you today to not only carry inward gratitude, but to get that which is within you, out of you!
And when you maintain an outward attitude of gratitude, it inspires others to do the same. Not only does it have an impact on you, or the one that you’re thanking, but your gratitude will impact those around you.
Make a commitment today to not keep those thoughts of thankfulness to yourself, but understand that they are far more beneficial when expressed.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
