We read on Saturday about how pride and arrogance can take us away from God, yet when we are truly sorry, there is always a way back.
King Nebuchadnezzar was one such man who went through some very hard lessons and yet after seven years he came to his senses.
It’s never too late to put things right, it’s never too late to come to God, no matter how far away you’ve been.
In Daniel chapter 4 36-37 The King says “at the same time my sanity was restored, my honor and splendour were returned to me for the glory of my Kingdom. I was restored to my throne and became even greater than before.”
So often when we mess up in life, we think that’s it, no second chance, no way back.
Not with God.
As long as you have the right attitude and truly repent, you have the opportunity to come back stronger and greater than before.
We have to go through a process in order for us to become the people God wants us to be. Often, that process is hard, but God is always with us.
No matter what you go through in life, the grace of God is a wonderful thing. It forgives and restores AND blesses in greater ways than we ever thought possible.
That’s God. He’s awesome. Do you know Him today?
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
