In the book of Genesis, we see God creating the world over a six day period. He continually recognises that His work is good until we reach Genesis chapter 2, where God has identified one thing that is not good…that man is alone.
From the very beginning of time, it becomes evident that God’s intentions for humanity are not that they should do life alone, but together with other people.
Adam was in the most beautiful environment, surrounded by the most amazing scenery, and yet God wanted to send a clear message to him and to us: what is life without people to share it with?
You can have all the success, all the resource and be living the life you always dreamed of, but what does it count if you don’t have anyone to enjoy the journey with?
God knows what you need and He knows who you need. After all, He created you. God knows that in order for you to live the life that He created you to live, then you can’t be secluded, you must live surrounded.
Make a choice today to surround yourself with people who are going to take you closer to your destiny and the fulfilment of God’s plan for your life.
For life is not about what you do, it’s about who you do it with.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
