Having a power cut is very inconvenient. Recently, I was cooking soup and I was halfway through blending it when we had a power cut. So I was left with half blended and half lumpy.
We don’t realise how much we rely on power until it’s gone. Ladies, how much do we rely on our hairstyling appliances like straighteners and dryers? Imagine going out the house with unstyled hair. For some of you, that would be a crisis. For some, we wouldn’t know any difference!
Praying gives us power.
Every time you leave the house not fully charged, you’re leaving short of power. There’s an old saying that says, “Seven days without prayer makes one weak.” Think about it for a moment…prayer charges you up.
I wouldn’t leave the house without ‘doing’ my hair. So why do I think it’s okay to leave without praying?
Prayer IS a luxury. God gives us a fantastic opportunity to connect to the greatest power source ever. And unlike other luxuries, this one, we can ALL afford.
Being without the electricity affected my day and I didn’t like it.
Don’t take His power for granted.
Get plugged in today.
You’ll be glad you did.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
