In the New Testament, we read the account of the feeding of the 5000. Jesus did a miracle and fed thousands of people with just 5 loaves and 2 small fish.
There was a need and they needed provision!
It didn’t just go from need to provision, there was a seed sown in between. It was the seed from the young boy of his lunch, he was willing to give it up and let it go.
In the Old Testament, we read the story of a widow who was in need during a famine. She had enough oil and water for one last meal before she would die. The man of God saw her need and that she needed provision and he asked her to sow a seed.
She was to give her last to him by making him something first.
Her need plus her seed resulted in her provision.
For the Bible tells us she received a miracle and her supply did not stop.
Too often for us it looks like this
Need + worry = Need
Need + complaining = Need
Need + crying about our need = Need
God wants us to see this principle.
Need + Seed = PROVISION
Ask the farmer. He has a need of provision for the coming year, it won’t help him to worry or complain about it, or even just pray about it, he needs to sow his seed.
Remember for your need to get to your provision, there has to be the sowing of seed.
It’s the law in the natural and it’s the law in the spiritual.
Watch it work in your life today.
