You may have heard it said that how you start something determines how you finish it. Today I want to flip that statement and let you know that how you finish something will determine how you start the next thing.
Maybe you’re like me in that when you see the end of a season in your life drawing close, you have a natural tendency to slow down and transition from giving your best to giving just a little of yourself.
However, I do believe that how you end one season has much to do with how you start the next.
As we approach the end of a year, may I encourage you to have a desire to finish it well.
We all want a strong start to a new year, so let’s commit together to having a strong end to this one.
I once heard someone say, ‘do something today that your future self will thank you for’.
What foundations are you laying during the conclusion of this season, that you’ll be grateful for in the season to come?
Begin to sow the necessary seeds now, so that you’ll enter into a new year ready to receive a harvest that you have made preparations for.
You’ll be glad you made a decision to finish well!
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
