Philippians 1 v 6 says “I can be confident of this, that He who began a good work in me, will carry it on unto completion”
Life can be frustrating at times. We wonder what God may be doing in our lives and situations.
However, if life was all easy and straightforward, we wouldn’t grow as much. We grow our best through resistance.
Therefore, we should all embrace where we are, for life is a journey. And as long as we are moving forward, we are moving forward!
The people who were in slavery in Egypt, took 40 years to get to the promised land…that was some journey…
It should have taken 11 days.
THEY DIDN’T REALISE THE PROBLEM WAS WITH THEM.
They moaned, groaned and rebelled. They got frustrated and eventually most of them never even got to where they should have got to.
They developed a ‘victim’ mentality.
Someone once said “if you don’t like what’s going on around you, deal with what’s going on inside of you.”
Take God’s promise today that ‘He who began a good work in me will bring it to completion.’ Don’t lose hope along the way, don’t get angry or bitter or lose your faith. Know that God is with you and He will work it out perfectly.
Keep going and you’ll keep growing.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
