What do you do when you are in a season that you don’t want to be in?
You may be waiting for better days. Wondering why God has you here. Dreaming of the future, and disappointed with the present.
Adding salt to the wound, you may be looking around at others further along than you. Others, in a season where you yourself long to be. Others, who seem to have life easier than you do. They seem more blessed or favoured than you.
Whether we feel like it or not, the truth is that God promises to never leave us (Deuteronomy 31:6). He also never goes to sleep on us (Psalm121). He also promises that He is working things together (Romans 8:28). He Promises that His plans for us are plans for us to succeed (Jeremiah 29:11).
So what is God doing in the present then?
The answer is that God is probably getting you to your promises through your present circumstances! IT IS CALLED PROCESS. Something we don’t like. Something that is not instant.
While we are waiting on things to change around us, God is often waiting for something to change IN us.
If you are struggling with the way your life is at present, that is okay, but also know that there is probably a process going on IN you.
More on this tomorrow!
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
