If everything that you were praying and believing God for landed in your life or happened right now, would you be ready?
Every apparent overnight success is actually someone who spend a long time preparing. Take an athlete for instance; we may see them out on the track or field or court performing but what we don’t see are their training sessions, their ice baths, their early mornings.
Ecclesiastes 3 tells us that there is a time for everything. In order to reap, you must sow. If this time during lockdown has taught us anything, it’s a few lessons about time. We’ve either been gifted the opportunity to use our differently, as we’ve been shut in the house or sadly, we’ve realised how short time can feel.
What seed can you sow or action can you take towards the things you’re believing for today? What course can you take? Who can you speak to who has a resource that you need? Who can you be a blessing to?
God has incredible things for us all but our relationship with Him is a partnership. Ask Him how you can be a good steward of what you have in your hand while you wait for more.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
