Psalm 103 “Bless the Lord O my soul, all my inmost being bless His Holy name.”
Sometimes we have to dig into our inmost being to worship.
You may not feel like it, or at times, dare I say, want to…but at those times, you need to dig deep and do it anyway.
Because this Psalm reminds us of why we should “…and forget not ALL of His benefits.”
He forgives all of your sin.
He heals all of your diseases – STOP…and thank Him right now.
He rescues your life from the pit -STOP…and thank Him for rescuing you.
He crowns you with love and compassion.
I love that “He crowns you”.
Think about this, not only does He rescue me, but He crowns me also.
As a parent, there are times when I’ve had to help lift my children out of a pit, but the last thing I want to do at those times, is crown them with love and compassion!
Not with God, He gets us out of a pit AND then immediately crowns us with love and compassion.
STOP… and thank Him for that.
And then… BONUS. “He renews your youth like the eagles.”
Today my friend, it’s time again to Bless the Lord.
YOU have a lot to be thankful for.
A daily devotion for a better way of living.
